Our urban space of Namur on exhibition in Paris!

Pauline Vanderbeck - AMCV

The Observatoire de la ville (France) is a space for information, reflexion and exchange.

Every year, the Observatoire de la Ville chooses a theme that engages a reflexion about the strategies that are lead to develop a city in a more durable way. The edition 2013-14 is about "Proximity" and will take place at the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris from the 2nd of May to the 29th of June 2014.

We are very proud to be chosen for our urban space in Namur "Le jardin de la maison de la culture" ! The selection has been made worldwide by the Observatoire de la ville. Our action is considered as unique : now, it's the most beautiful terrace in Namur, in spite of it's central position, it was an abandonned place; Lively cities, a European and Wallonian project, has a purpose of giving the public spaces back to the citizens, it made this gorgeous terrace a reality.

Let's head to Paris for a reflexion about our affective relationship to the city!
