Between 23 and 27 of September, of 2013, a group of 16 third year students from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences with their lecturers will implement the North-West European Lively Cities Place-making Tour. Van Hall Larenstein University (VHL) contributes to the Lively Cities project with creative green solutions to reclaim public spaces for public use again.
Students of the University help project partners to animate and stimulate public involvement and better use of their squares and parks, in cooperation with local stakeholders and professionals. For the purpose of the tour, a caravan has been redesigned and turned into an interactive and playful attraction, which will be deployed for several actions and activities during our visit to a number of North-West European city squares and parks.
Wednesday the 25th September, from 9am until 12pm, on the Place Verte*, VHL will raise awareness about environment to the Paris school students.
*The workshop will be held in the school.
Friday the 27th of September, VHL students in association with the FIFF Namur (Film Festival in Namur) will organise workshops about cinema & green, from 11am to 5pm on the Jardin de la Maison de la Culture.
