Guerilla Knitting in Liège
Amel Bouakaz - AMCV
During the latest meeting of the Lively Cities project in Liège, while visiting the "Place des Carmes", we've discovered a guerilla knitted tree. It's a trend & we see more & more guerilla knitted urban furnitures but also trees. The guerilla knitting isn't only the occasion to enhance public space & "heat up" a tree. It's a proof that people care about their public spaces, people reclaim public space: perfect placemaking example!
