Common room could be here to stay

Paula Goncalves - Brighton & Hove City Council

Communities living, working and studying in the London Road area are being invited to give their views on proposals to make permanent improvements to Ann Street and Providence Place Gardens, next to St Bartholomew’s Church.

Consultation starts on 9 October following a successful pilot scheme to transform the area into an open air 'Common Room'.

The Common Room was the winning design for the council’s Lively Cities competition to radically change and improve the area just off the city’s busy London Road.

To take part in the consultation, which runs until 24 November, visit www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/livelycities or come to the public exhibition in Providence Place Gardens from 10-12 October, 10am-4pm.
